Myrkdalen is known for its lush pastures and uncultivated areas. And with lots of snow during winter makes Myrkdalen fulfill everything that you would expect from every skiing and holiday destination in Norway.
We want families with children to enjoy Myrkdalen as much as possible, so why not make the skiingresorts for the children the heart of the mountian?
Myrkdalen mountain village contains architecture that unites traditional and modern architecture. Planning a compact village for pedestrians, bicyclists and skiers.
The urban space gets a taste of diversity since it will be big enough for events, yet intimate. The buidling practice and the street space creates a unique and inviting sitting arena. This is a place to meet and to be toghether.
The town Square is the gathering point in Myrkdalen, including all kinds of activities. With a design and use that makes the urban space available for everyone and gives the opportunity to participate in the swarming life you’ll find in the mountain village, Myrkdalen.
