MAD about Astrup

MAD's proposal for a new museum for the Norwegian artist Nicolai Astrup, situated next to Astruptunet in Jølster. Astruptunet was the home of painter and graphic artist Nikolai Astrup (1880-1928) during the final 14 years of his life. Our proposal places the museum under the road, close to the Jølster fjord, and leaves Astruptunet undisturbed – exactly as it was when Astrup lived there.
