Alf Isak Nordli

Architect
Alf Isak grew up among deer, sheep and pinetrees on the island of Frei in western Norway. After some gloriously free years of travelling across Scandinavia building wooden boats and then some university studies, he went on to have even more fun at the Bergen School of Architecture, from where he got his MA in Architecture in 2007. Alf Isak has since worked at BGO Arkitekter and Ratio Arkitekter before he joined MAD in 2011.
Through his work he has attained broad experience in diverse cultural buildings and has a strong focus on developing qualities unique to both site and client right from the first sketch to the finished building.
